New Appointed CEO
The Rychiger Pharmatech AG Board of Directors have appointed Pascal Witprächtiger as the new CEO of Rychiger Pharmatech AG effective August 1, 2021. Witprächtiger succeeds Patrik Thoma, who announced his intention to step down as CEO in mid-2021 to take up a new challenge in the area of mixing technology.
Pascal Witprächtiger (Swiss citizen, born 1975) has many years of extensive experience in specialized machine construction and digitization. He has held various successful managerial positions and is well acquainted with the international environment of mechanical engineering. He began his career at Sigpack Packaging Technology, which was later integrated into Bosch Packaging GmbH. From 2005 to 2012, he would work in various different management positions within the Bosch Packaging Systems AG operational division.
From 2012 to 2016, he acted as Global Head of Central Electrical Engineering and was responsible for 15 locations worldwide. During this time, he would work to promote synergies and standardization within the automation environment.
From 2016 to 2019, he was given the task of setting up an independent digital division in order to establish and sell software-based solutions, thus creating new business models within the traditional specialized mechanical engineering space.
Pascal Witprächtiger earned his diploma in electrical engineering at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, and he would later earn an Executive MBA degree from the HSG at the University of St.Gallen.
Patrik Thoma, who successfully managed Rychiger Pharmatech AG for more than 3 years, supported his successor during the induction phase. Since starting in August 2021, Pascal has been able to ensure a smooth takeover.
